The Kiwi Muslim Directory was established in 2008 with a simple mission: to help New Zealand's Muslim community find halal food and Islamic services easily. At the time, there was no centralised resource — information was scattered and often out of date.
What started as a printed directory has grown into a comprehensive digital platform — including our website, the Locate mobile app, and the Crescent Chronicles newsletter reaching over 2,000 subscribers fortnightly.
Today we serve thousands of Muslims across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and beyond — as well as Muslim travellers visiting Aotearoa New Zealand.
